With their intentions clear, they set out to blend in amongst the populace, and before long had integrated themselves among the community..."
This Prologue taken from DLG#7 explains really well what is the Dota Lynch Game. Dota Lynch game is a mafia-based forum game, where you can play either as the Village (Sentinel) or the Ghouls (Scourge).
The Game[]
DotA Lynch Game is a game of logic and deception.
The Sentinel team starts from majority while trying to figure out who the ghouls are through logic and with the help of their heroes. Each of the Sentinel-sided roles doesn't know who the others are. They will try to eliminate a player from the Scourge team through lynching, eliminating either an enemy or an ally. They win when all the village threats are eliminated.
The Scourge team starts from minority while trying to blend in through deceiving the villagers and with the help of their heroes. They will come to privately discuss knowing each other as well. They are trying to eliminate a player from the Sentinel team through feasting while trying to avoid being lynched until they become majority. They win when they equalize or outnumber all the other participants.
